Mingze Xi is a Research Scientist with the CSIRO Data61 Immersive Environments Lab, Quantitative Imaging Research Team. He is also an Honorary Lecturer at The Australian National University and The University of Newcastle, Australia.
Before joining CSIRO, he completed his PhD in Computer Science at The University of Newcastle (Australia). During 2012-2013, He was a research postgraduate at Durham University, UK.
Mingze has extensive experience in upskilling primary industry workers with next-generation human-computer interfaces. His main research interests include wearable computing, augmented/virtual reality, interactive visualisation, user experience (UX) design, computer vision, skill training and assessment, asset tracking, logistics and smart building.
